“Little black dress”

Standard

THE LITTLE BLACK DRESS (LBD)

The LBD is an evening or cocktail dress with a simple pattern and is often above the knees. It originates from the 1920’s designs of Coco Chanel. Vogue calls it “A sort of uniform for all women of taste.”

It is very essential for it completes the wardrobe of a woman. It is considered a “A rule of fashion” that every woman should own one.

It can be worn at a wedding, business gathering, a date, a party or even on Valentine’s Day for all those that wish to elude the traditional Red color. The secret is to just keep it simple!!

It can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. For example, throw over a jacket to create a formal or business look or simply accessorize for that elegant evening look.
Tip: Remember, don’t over-accessorize as this will seem like you are trying too hard. A pair of heels and a perfect clutch (purse) is the way to go!!
