We want to acknowledge all the new talents and ambitious uprising stars and people we have in Zambia. Uprising will be every Friday where we get to interview one person within politics, media, entertainment, hospitality, society and culture. This is a chance for them to show you and tell you more about what they do. This Friday we have a talented producer by the name of Paul Kruz and here is what he has to say about this art.
“EZM” Tell us a bit about yourself and your background
” Paul” Well, am aged 21.Based on the Copperbelt in Kitwe. 1st in the family of three. Two boys and one girl.
“EZM” What makes you stand out as a producer?
“Paul” Well what really makes me stand out as a producer is the kind of effort and quality i deliver to both the artists I work with and and just how much am open to learn more in my trade so that I help to take Zambian music to the next level.
“EZM” Which artist have you loved to work with?
“Paul” I have worked with Alikiba, Dandy Krazy,Exile,Unique,Macky 2,Baska,Afunika,Tonny Breezy,Q,OC,Dalitsoul,DY2K,Question Mark,Chizanga,Tasila Mwale,Kazz Coofs, fourty S7ven etc. Well the list is endless.
“EZM” Which song is the best song that you have produced?
“Paul” Alikiba’s Dushelele that I and Malwater from Tanzania worked on together last year while I was in Tanzania, cause that really challenged me to bring out my best in terms of what I can deliver.
“EZM” Which producer has inspired you to be whom you
“Paul” Really can,’t lie on that its Jerry Fingaz. He always delivers to the industry and challenges us producers to really at least make a hit every year, the dude is just hard.
“EZM” Which artist do you want to work with?
“Paul” PJ,Exile,Petersen and Masha Moyo.
“EZM” What do you have to say to the people reading this and what should we expect from in 2012?
“Paul” All I can say is that they should keep criticism,loving and promoting Zambian music and they should expecting a tsunami from me pretty soon. I’ll deliver to them and make them proud!!!!!
